Well I would guess roughly two weeks from now. It seems as if its been a little bogged down (5-6 weeks as opposed to the 2-3 weeks they expected). Who knows though.

I would have thought there would have been some decisions going out today. I think the committee will be meeting sometime mid week again.

I don't think they decide for those on hold till probably next year, my guess is late jan, early feb, from what I remember being told on interview day. It could take all the way till june or even july for someone on hold to be given a decision. I am guessing that those on HPA will be given a decision before those on hold mainly because they are on the priority list 😛

I think the person was asking about the pre-interview hold status, not the post-interview one. I remember from reading last year's thread that someone got an interview after being put on hold around Dec/Jan so I assume that this is around the time, but Upstate has also changed to the MMI so I don't know how that's affecting the review process since they are reviewing more people already.

oh I see, yeah I don't know about pre-interview holds, but you bring up a good point about MMI, since they are able to interview at a faster rate, even though they are interviewing the same number of applicants, it might be sooner rather than later

Still no accepted comments for sooooo long.
 
I think the committee is meeting today, I interviewed on 12/03 and the director of admission mentioned the next committee meeting would be on Wednesday 12/05. Good luck everyone, Hope all of you will hear some good news!!!

did they say when you should hear back from them? i thought it was 2-3 weeks but it seems to be longer than that
 
The typically wait has been well over the 2-3 weeks that they tell us at the interview. Definitely closer to 5-6 weeks on average.

For anyone who has submitted the acceptance reply form, how did you guys return it? Did you fax it to them or scan and email?

I just mailed it back to the office of student admissions. I'm sure you could fax it or email it too.
 
WOO!!! Just got the acceptance email!!! So excited, its my first acceptance! Interviewed 11/12! Good luck to everyone else!!
