Congrats on the acceptance 🙂
I had a great time while I was there; I really got along with the interviewees. Even though it was a first time MMI for everyone I spoke to, the interviewees were really chill and friendly. The people I met reminded me of the ones I went to undergrad with. Oh the glory days!

Now I'm going to be sweating bullets looking for an email :scared:

My stupid phone alarm just went off, and my heart rate shot through the roof because I thought it may have been a school calling me.
I wanna throw my phone out the window

Congrats dude!!! When did you interview ? did anyone from 12/03 heard anything ??

Just got my first acceptance from SUNY Upstate via status page!!!! Such a relief, I'm ecstatic right now!!!! Interview was on 12/12

Congratulations!! 😀 I just checked mine and I got in as well!!!! Why haven't we gotten emails? Although I am not complaining! I am so excited.

Holy cow I'm in the same position you are!!! First acceptance. I was just going to leave work today and I decided to check SDN ONE MORE TIME. Saw your post and checked my app with my heart in my throat. Congrats to ya bud 🙂

Did anyone who was accepted send in the acceptance form and pay the deposit? I did that and my status page is completely blank now. The congratulations message is gone. Upstate also did not send me a confirmation for receipt of the acceptance form. It has been 3 weeks since the form was due...do u think I should be worried that maybe the fax never went through? Maybe I am just being paranoid...
 
It took me a few weeks to get the confirmation email. I did call admissions to confirm that they got my acceptance reply form before that, so you could do that if you are really worried.

Its standard for the page to be blank, but I would call and check with them whether they received the fax. I had chosen to mail it with a return receipt and that I how i knew they had gotten it. Its always better to call and confirm.

Woke up this morning to a wrong number call. I decided to check bannerweb on a whim and....accepted!

Interviewed 12/03

Upstate put a lot of applicants on a pre-interview hold and basically told them they'd be re-reviewed after all applications were recieved.
 
Rejected via email. Unfortunate but not the end of the world. Good luck to everyone else still in the running!
 
quick question: for those of you who got an interview, are we suppose to make the campus selection (ie. Upstate versus Binghamton) prior to the interview by emailing the addmissions office our campus choice? Or does selection occur the day we interview?

You can do either.
If you wait til the day of the interview, you can also opt to hand it in up til a few days after.
 
Did anyone from December, 3rd group receive rejection or waitlist decision? I had an interview almost 6 weeks ago and haven't received any updates.

I interviewed the same day as you and I still have not heard anything yet. However, I checked today and my interview status disappeared so maybe we going to hear something soon!!
 
Does people who get rejected also have their interview status disappear ?
 
How does a final decision appear on the supplemental page? Is it a giant message like the interview invitation? My status has also disappeared and I'm crossing my fingers like in a cartoon where they wrap around each other in a spiral.
 
Yeah, it is exactly like that. I also received an email shortly after confirming my decision.

Got it too...I will most likely do it. I have not studied since last April so it would be a nice way to adjust to medical school. I also like the fact that I can get anatomy out of the way before medical school really starts.
 
is Summer Anatomy binding? in other words, if we apply to the program and are accepted, can we later opt-out?

If I do matriculate I most likely wont be doing it. I would rather work those last two months and save some money.
 
I just withdraw from here . good luck everyone!! My advice to those still interviewing is to watch up for an Indian guy who is an interviewer in one of the 1-8 rooms. Very unprofessional, poor eye contact and barely speaks English.I don't even know why they chose him as an interviewer!!!! He came out at me like he just did not like my name or something ( maybe he had his period)....oh well, good luck to all of you who still on the run.

Says the guy who can't structure a proper English sentence. Perhaps they chose him to interview because he is intelligent and his accent is not an indication of intelligence. Best of luck wherever you decide to go!

I actually liked him a lot and got along very well with him. Good luck the rest of the cycle.

Maybe they chose him because he was there to throw you off, not every interviewer will be sweet and kind and make it easy for you, its up to you to adjust to the situation and make the best of it

Got it too man, I don't know if I should. On interview day they said the program is super intense since its so short and they have to cram so much in a short period of time. Let me know what you think about it. Another thing is that I would have to move there early and I kinda want to enjoy my last summer before my life is over 🙂

I think since its a limited program, it might be binding, but I would call the admissions office and ask
