Oh in case anyone was wondering, I sent an update letter in December and about 3 weeks later, including the Christmas-New Years break when I doubt much activity was going on in the office, I got an II. I'm not sure if they were directly related but it's worth a shot for those still waiting if you have any significant updates.

I think emails my year came out at 9-930am est... that was almost 4 years ago but i think its still the same. The subject line usually says it right off the bat so you don't need to have anxiety waiting for the email to load.

To second what zebalong said, my *official* acceptance email came at around 8:30 AM on January 15th, and the subject line was "EINSTEIN-MD ACCEPTANCE" (that was in Jan 2012)

(Btw the reason why I say that was when I got my official email, is because in my year, Einstein actually sent out early 'unofficial' emails to some people regarding their acceptances around December 22, to tell them to save the date regarding an accepted students meet n greet event. However nowadays I don't think they do those early emails anymore, because the accepted students meet n greet event is held later)

Anyways, good luck to all those that hopefully will hear back on Wednesday!

I was complete early October. Does anyone know why I didn't get any news yet? Also just to double check, there is no way to check the status of our application is there? I logged onto my secondary and couldn't find a status page.
 
Yeah - keep in mind that it's the first possible date that we can hear back, not necessarily when we will hear back. Just .. manage expectations a bit. 🙂 (#1 lesson of this whole process, really.)

Accepted this morning! E-mail received at 6:20 am. So excited! This is my top choice school that I have received acceptance to thus far and I will most likely attend. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting 🙂
 
Accepted today at 7 AM!! Excited to say the least!

Interviewed on 10/18/13 with 3.7 GPA, 36 MCAT, OOS

Oh I really don't like the suspense... Interviewed 10/28. Here's to hoping there is more than one email burst going out today!

I think that was because the later times were just people hearing from the west coast.
 
I just interviewed last week (exactly one week ago, actually). Does it stand to reason that they won't get back to me till much, much later?

Accepted early morning via email as well, and completely BOMBED the interview. Was totally sleep-deprived and my interviewer asked some tough questions. So there's still hope!

If I have already released the results of a background check earlier in the month in response to another acceptance I received, are those results then used for any future acceptance I receive? Or, will I receive a separate request email again from Certiphi and then have to re-do the background check process for Einstein's purposes?

I believe the one time that you already did it will be available for every school that you've been accepted to/waitlisted at.
 
Looked at last years thread and saw that a lot of people got acceptance emails at 10:50-11am. Whether they are EST or PST.. Idk
