I called and was told that because there is such a high volume of applicants (over 400), they are taking a little longer. The deadline for them to get back to applicants about interview invites is the end of this month! But even if you haven't heard back by the end of the month, you can call them and they can check on your app! Good luck!
 
I haven't heard from them either.. So they don't do interviews?

Not sure, but I received an invite via email with the same info.
 
For those that applied to University of Florida:
I just received an email from the director of the graduate program informing me that my application was very highly rated, and though invitations for interview weekend have been sent out, I may be contacted in the future for a phone interview to be considered for admission. YESSS!!

*From what I've gathered on TGC, there seems to be many, many people who received this email. At this point, I'm pretty doubtful about getting an interview.

That's what they told me every time I called (which was probably way too many times). I checked out the invite threads from the past few years and only one of them had information about WSU which suggested they didn't have interviews.

Also, would you please PM me your POI for Colorado? Thanks!
 
Hey Friends,

I find myself less and less available to come on here and do updates. I'm in the middle of my own interviews, plus have loads going on in my MA program/traineeships/etc. I'll try to pop in but since most invites have gone out (I just said most, not all 😉), I feel OK stepping away and not updating as often. Good luck to those who are still interviewing! Hope to see good news for each one of you in the near future!

I received an interview for LIU Post's PsyD Program yesterday via email. The interview is scheduled for 2/24. If I were you, I would email the program and ask if they are still sending out interview invites. Best of luck!

Thanks a bunch, psychedgrad! I will probably follow up with them on Monday. I saw on the website that the last interview date is march 1 so I'm holding on to a little bit of hope!

Thank you for the information~ Just looked through TGC, and there was one acceptance posted on March 5 for 2013. So I guess the offers should be sent out around then.

Ya apparently their interviews were a ways back. I was surprised I didn't see any pop up in this thread or on TGC
 
Has anyone heard from Texas A&M post interview? During interview day they said around this time is when they would know everything for sure and I saw a waitlist post on TGC.

Roosevelt university's program director's assistant emailed me back and said "Interviews have been extended to the top selection with an emphasis on out of state folks, but not exclusive to them" so maybe rejected for the clinical psych PsyD program....?
 
Just called Loyola (Chicago). All invites have been extended. If you didn't receive one, a rejection will be on its way. Oh well.

It sort of reads like a mass email, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm thinking this wasn't directly from the POI, rather one of the professors that coordinates interview day and then sent out via the office secretary. I just saw another posting on TGC, so I'm guessing it is probably a mass email.

I got this one too. Was from a secretary & faculty member, but not my POI. Reads like a mass email.
 
Anybody else having a conflict with IIT and Rosalind? I already committed to IIT, so hopefully Rosalind is accommodating!! It did seem like a mass email, but I might be wrong -- you could always call them to make sure!
Also for some of my other interviews, there is a 'party' or a dinner... if any of you have attended those sorts of events, what was the attire? Thanks!
 
Somebody on TGC said they checked their status for Rutgers PsyD online and it said they were rejected. My status is currently, "no decision," but I know a lot of people have already had interview invites extended. This is kind of the same situation I had earlier with Denver (they rejected me), and am now having with PGSP-Stanford. Do I assume correctly that I'm essentially a backup option for these programs? That they are keeping me un-rejected on the slim possibility that enough people turn down the interview invites or are so terrible in their interviews that they need more candidates?

Writing this down makes me realize just how negative I'm being… but am I also being realistic?

I am in the same boat! I want to contact them but the site states pretty clearly not to. I want to hope for the best, but it is hard.

Is it just me or has no one heard a word from Columbia Counseling Psych PhD on this forum? If anyone knows if they have extended interviews, please let us know. They are the only school I have not heard from.
 
I contacted the secretary of the department and she said they have started going out, but are not done extending invitations yet. I really hope she is accurate in telling me this information.

Columbia teachers college clinical phd program hasn't contacted anyone either
 
Rosalind Franklin U Clinical Psych PhD POI responded to my email saying, "We are still wading through the applications but hope to get out all interview day invitations this week."
Also, Syracuse Clinical Psych PhD POI said rest of invites are about to go out soon, "They are about to be extended. Thanks for your interest."
 
I'm waiting for the Columbia TC Counseling Program as well. About 2 weeks ago they sent me an email saying to choose a different PI to apply for (mine wasn't taking more students), but I haven't heard a word since...

Anyone else going a little stir crazy waiting?

Binghamton has a clinical program not a neuropsych program.
 
I'm also waiting to hear from teachers college school psychology program! I think the snow in NY caused a lot of university closings/employees unable to come in to work which is delaying the application review process

Mine says the same thing as well and I'm also having those agonizing thoughts. Keep us posted if you find out anything further! 🙂
