any news from buffalo? I submitted my app a few days ago and it still says that they have not received it.
 
Just going to reiterate a question from the first page - everyone who has received the secondary is already verified on AMCAS, correct?

I've received some secondaries from other schools despite not being verified, but have not received one from here yet.

I spoke to someone in admissions and they were very enthusiastic about the fact that someone who submits an app in July may not get looked at until November or March, and that they just pull applications at random - there is no academic statistic prioritization of candidates or anything like that - so you could hear next week, or you could hear in march - even if your stats are great.

I thought buffalo had rolling admissions. I don't get why they said this.

Maybe they're trolling bc they know us pre-meds will have heart attacks to reduce the number of ppl they have to interview 😀

Just received a "your application is complete" email - but they also said that the reviewing was random and not as they were received. Bummer haha.
 
received the complete email but when I checked my status online, it still shows that they have not received my app. anyone else have this issue

anyone else get an email from them saying they lost our secondary app and need you to resubmit?

I resubmitted.....I hope my previous payment doesn't get 'LOST" too
 
My status still just says secondary received...even though all my letters are in and have been received by other schools
 
That's strange. I received an email today telling me was application was complete. When I log into that website, it says my application is not complete.
 
No problem! Weird though, seems like maybe e-mail correspondence is most trustworthy. I guess I just need to wait on them to let me know I'm complete...maybe they just haven't downloaded everyone's letters yet.
 
How are we supposed to check out status for this school? I submitted but when I log back in it just takes me back to the secondary and doesn't give me any update or anything.

I just google it and a link to their site with an option to check status comes up. There isn't much info though, just tells if you submitted and if your app is complete.
 
So I just submitted and it says they haven't received payment or secondary..is this normal? Or did your status change right away (checked an hour after)?

Not rolling. "Random Review" as per their admissions counselor. Someone who submits an app in november might get pulled for review at the same time as someone who applied in july.

So did that just change this year? Buffalo has always been rolling.

I got a complete email too but when I go and check the status it says not complete. Is this true for you also?
 
what's the average sstats for admissions in this school?
 
Can someone help me out, I thought that I submitted this secondary, but I only have an email confirming a receipt of the payment. When I click the secondary link in the original email and sign in it takes me to the secondary again, that is not filled in. Does this mean I did not actually submit the secondary?
 
Seems like there's still some technical difficulties going on. When I try to submit my app, I get a massive error page with a bunch of script :laugh:
 
I submitted my secondary about 2 days ago (sometime after the supposed technical glitch), but I've received no email confirmation. They need a new webmaster, because I'm not even sure if I submitted anymore :laugh:
 
Does anyone know if there is an essay we are required to write on the day of the interview?
 
Can anyone say how long it took from having all your application materials (letters, secondary, fee) sent to buffalo, and being marked complete on the status check? It's been almost a week for me, and it still says application complete-NO.
 
I emailed them last week to ask. On Tuesday Mr. Rosso responded and told me my file was complete even though the website still shows me as not complete even today.
