I was wondering the same thing. Seems like in the past a good chunk of people have gotten off around May 1st and again around May 15th

Does anyone remember where clinical rotations take place at Wake? Are they all at Baptist? Does the pediatric rotation take place at Brenner's?

As a follow-up: can anyone comment on the structure of M3 and M4?
Specifically how rotation orders are decided, how many electives, and about hospital choice in that time.

Just got off the waitlist! OOS, will be matriculanting here 🙂 So incredibly excited.
Edit: should mention that I wrote a letter of intent & update yesterday (I was holding multiple other acceptances). I don't know if it's coincidental or not, but both my interview and acceptance came shortly after sending in letters.

Congrats! I withdrew my acceptance here yesterday morning so I'm gonna go ahead and take a little credit haha.

Did you send a letter of interest recently/ stats and interview date if you don't mind?
I sent one at the end of March! I also continuously updated them until I got my interview and after my interview when my transcript came out, etc. Hope that helps! I'm sure you've got this! 🙂

I am late to answer this, but as far as M3 and M4:
With respect to rotation order, for 3rd year, they give you about 10 or so different order permutations, and you rank them, and they are assigned. You will rotate through all of M3 with the same group. Details beyond that are really wayyy beyond what you need to worry about now.
Electives are only available during M4 and the scheduling system is pretty flexible. All of your 4th year classes are chosen by you (i.e. no assigned ED rotation or anything) within certain parameters (must do 1 ICU, 2 acting internships (aka sub-I's), can't do more than 4 electives in one specialty, etc.). Beyond that, if you are driving at some specific thing, send me a PM and I can answer it.
There is no hospital choice. All rotations are at Baptist, except OB-GYN rotations (and some scattered electives) which are at Forsyth. Wake Forest Baptist does have various clinics spread out in Winston-Salem, so it's not like every second of your life is at the hospital. But we do not have affiliations with any other hospitals besides the limited one with Forsyth.

How exactly does this work? "Hi my name is ___ and I just want to call and say how much I love Wake Forest. Can I please talk with someone in admissions?" Grats on the acceptance.
Well when you call you are already technically speaking to someone from admissions, so I am not sure they would put you through to anyone else. When I called I would say something like, "hi my name is ___ and I am a current applicant on the waitlist. I just wanted to call to express how much I enjoyed visiting wake on ___ and let you know that I would love the opportunity to attend." Or something similar. They generally respond with, thanks for calling I'll add a note to your file. It's unsatisfying, but I really think it helped get me an admissions offer. I will say that you should definitely write a letter, too. I don't think calling is strong enough on its own. Moral of the story though, persistence is key. Good luck! I just got accepted off the waitlist today! I will definitely be going here! Super super stoked! Can i get a PM to the Facebook group? It didn't come up when I searched.
Long time lurker, first post. I'm still on the waitlist here but it's been dead silent. Any signs of movement out there? I called a couple of weeks ago and they said they expect movement up until orientation, but it doesn't seem like there's been as much as previous years at all.
I'm a member of the accepted students Facebook group, and people have been creating "Just got accepted - Anyone want a roommate?" posts here and there. So the waitlist is moving as people play musical chairs with their acceptances. Good luck!
I mean you certainly could be right, but I just don't think people are updating the school-specific thread as much as in the past. I was accepted this morning off the alternate list.
