Yeah, I am pretty sure it's a lost cause at this point, but would like to know either way! I have seen a couple of posts alluding to this, but do sites ever not notify applicants of their status?

I bet my rejection is coming soon, if they are sending out personalized ones. I really liked this place, oh well. Not a huge fan of NY so maybe it's for the best!

I've read about people on this thread and the previous years thread never receiving word from a number of sites. I also spoke with individuals from thecohort from the previous year in my program and they said they did hear from all sites. Who knows.

My DCT encouraged us to try and contact sites towards the end of next week, as some sites take a few extra days.

Lots of social advocacy, lots of politics, lots of things like fair trade shops and farmers markets. The lakes are beautiful, and people tend to be healthier than other places I've lived (e.g., North Carolina) - I am always shocked by the number of people who bike or walk to work. I do some research in Mindfulness, so that is the only university-related stuff I know about (Davidson's lab is there, he's a big name in that field). Great beer, good cheese. Hope that helps!

Oh, great, thanks for all that information - it definitely gives me a flavor of the place. It sounds like it would be a good match for my lifestyle. I am originally from Northern CA (went to Berkeley for undergrad) and currently in Manhattan..so farmer's markets, social advocacy..yeah..i got those 🙂 I also know that Madison has come up as the "best" place to live in the US on several lists throughout the years because of its high quality of life. The advisor I had in undergrad was from that program and I know about some of the social psychology research that came out of there - John Haidt's work on moral emotions, for example. The training in the Health Psych track was very impressive in its breadth and depth...that's what really got me!

I had that thought yesterday...I actually emailed myself to make sure my account was working 🙂
 
my email is broken. I know it. It's only been giving me rejection letters. I obviously set the spam filter to "mean"

Oh dear now I have a rejection from Cleveland despite them inviting me for an interview earlier today. One of these emails was not meant for me.

I have been checking all three email accounts in the small and absolutely unlikely chance a site got ahold of my work or personal email. It gives me something to do though
 
I just got an invitation to interview at Laureate through NOPIP! Yay! This is one I really wanted, but was told earlier I wouldn't be able to do, because they were only interviewing for one rotation.

Phew! waiting on 5 more!

They've done it to both of us. I emailed both Dr. Goldberg and Mrs. Rosen and have not yet heard back what my status is. This is even more anxiety provoking.

We're in the home stretch people! I'm happy with my number of interviews and sites I am interviewing with. I had hopes of staying in this area or moving back home, but those two options just didn't line up for me. Sending well wishes everyone's way on this loooonnnnggggg afternoon! 🙂

I received the same kind of thoughtful phone invite to that program. Wisconsin is great and so is Madison. Wisconsin is a beautiful state--if you like nature, outdoors, food, you'd enjoy it (it is kind of like the Massachusetts of the Midwest). Madison is a pretty college town. Good food, affordable, nice music/art/cultural scene for such a small city. Good Mexican food! And only a few hours away from Milwaukee and Chicago.

I also have not heard from them - though silence is certainly preferable to being invited and then rejected! How rough!

Did anyone apply for the McGuire VA Primary Care track? I re-submitted a cover letter for this after a rejection from the general psych track. The due date and expected notification were not provided in the announcement to re-apply.

Also has anyone heard from American University?
