I think all of mine are in the 20's or lower, which is quite terrifying
 
Why does it seem like university counseling centers are being the slowest? I've heard nary a peep from any of them.
 
Has anyone else heard from Children's National DC? I know one person received a phone call--just interested in whether many others did, as well. Thanks!

I think that is how it was last year too. A friend of mine applied to mostly college counseling centers and ended up with most of his invites coming in during the second and third week in December.

Congrats 909! I know a few folks that have been compulsively checking email waiting for that one...
 
So guys, is it just me or if you haven't gotten an invite/rejection early in the morning there probably be none coming the rest of the day? The responses I've gotten so far I got them like at 7am, latest 8. Is this the norm? (ie. Should I stop obsessively checking my email throughout the day?)

Mine actually came in the afternoon

4givr - I have had notifications early morning, mid-morning, and mid-afternoon. Most of mine (mostly rejections) have been first thing in the morning. My guess is that is actually pretty variable, and dependent on when they have meetings. If it is a late meeting, then they probably go out first thing the next AM. A morning meeting --> mid-late morning, etc.

Not at all, I got one last night at 5:30pm (it was 3:30 in the timezone it was sent from).

I just got one. They come at all times. And don't forget to consider time zone differences.

Invitation via personal email from Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center 11/21. I know another poster received one a few weeks ago so it seems like they are sending them out as they go.

I had one come at lunch, and one come in the evening after normal business hours. Keeps me on my toes and glued to a laptop or mobile device at all times!
 
E-mail from Center for Counseling and Psychological Services at Penn State University stating that internship invite e-mails will be sent out on Friday, December 12th. Interviews will begin January 6th.

I was wondering the same 🙂 Haven't heard anything from CNMC yet either -- not sure whether that's meaningful or not!

Hahaha your underscoring of rejection made me smile. I got a rejection from them too today and I read a little "eff you people" into the underline. 🙂
 
Just received invite from Indianapolis Roudebush VA via mass email. Interview dates are 1/9 and 1/16. Yay!
 
Uh oh I may be in trouble. I had to change my phone number soon after I submitted my applications. (I sent them all in at the same time). I rushed to change the number in the main application but couldn't change it in the submitted CV etc. I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal since I thought invites were always through email but I am now seeing that some sites are calling!

Should I contact all the directors and correct my phone number?? Ugh UGHHH!!!
