I saw Lurie sent invites last week as well. However, I haven't heard yay/nay from them yet either.

Ah, "glad" to see that someone else is in the same boat as me, but I wish we could get closure. Lurie is my #1 pick, and I'm from Chicago, so I'd be grateful for any notification.
 
Did anyone else apply to the Southwest Consortium and not receive an invite or rejection e-mail? Notifications were supposed to go out by Dec 1 (today), and I haven't received anything.

I haven't gotten a confirmation and neither has the other person from my program interviewing there. They did say in the email to fill out the preferences survey by 12/3, so maybe we will know by Wednesday? On a side note, ever since I filled out the survey link I have been questioning whether or not I actually submitted it or did something wrong 🙂.

Ditto! I requested the first day, too, which is next week. Hoping to know soon so I can book my travel!
 
Any news on OhioGuidestone Psych Services? They're my only site with a 12/1 notification date but despite checking my email every ten minutes all day I've got nothing... Guess I'll take people's advice on here and send out an email to check in with them tomorrow
 
Sorry to ask, but has anyone gotten a rejection from University of Mississippi Medical Center/VAMC Consortium? Today was their notifcation date, but I haven't heard anything either way.

Got the interview invite just after 11 pm est. Way to keep me on my toes Ohio! (First interview though so not complaining)

No, I have not heard anything either. Let us know if you do.

haha, me too! Sounds like we're not the only ones who haven't heard, though, so we can probably assume we didn't accidentally forget to hit 'submit' or something 😉

I also did not receive a message either way from the Southwest Consortium. Not sure what to make of that, but may consider contacting them on Wednesday if I haven't heard by the end of today. Please update if you hear anything.

Last year McLean sent out several rounds of invites. The first was around 11/25 and the second around 12/10. Someone from my program who had written them off last year, was invited in the second round of interviews. It seems likely they will do that again this year. Notice (as far as I can tell), they've only scheduled December interview dates. They definitely had Jan dates as well last year.....

Hi All,

I have been requested to fill out the federal paperwork for three BOP sites (which it looks like lots of others have too!) Does anyone know if the folks that were invited to do so last year all got interviews (as long as they passed federal clearance) or are there still more rejections to come? Sorry if this has already been answered...I flipped through a few pages of the forum and didn't find anything specifically addressing this : )

This is the first year that the application for temporary federal employment has been required at this stage. So, I doubt anyone outside of current BOP employees/interns will be able to answer your question.
 
Weirdest invite wording ever this morning....But invite nonetheless. Woohoo! :clap:

"We are in receipt of your application to our program. Our interview is January 8th, 2015. Interviews will begin at 9:00AM. Please let me know if you will attend."

That was it. No opening or closing greeting. No hint of interview in the subject line. I read the first line sleepily at 7:00AM this morning and was sure I got rejected. Hahaha.
 
Got an email in my Spam folder advertising Northwestern University's Master of Arts in Counseling Program...hoping they aren't trying to tell me something about my application 😉 I seem to have been added to some list serve by applying there?

Me too. Odd that they have so many dates. I guess there will be less applicants at this one during interview day? No one from my program has ever interviewed here, so I'm kinda nervous as to what the interview will be like...

Great news even if the email was a bit misleading. And further proof not to write off a site until an actual rejection comes through. Good luck! 🙂
