Just received Pittsburgh VA general track rejection via mass e-mail.
Weirdest invite wording ever this morning....But invite nonetheless. Woohoo!

I also did not receive a message either way from the Southwest Consortium. Not sure what to make of that, but may consider contacting them on Wednesday if I haven't heard by the end of today. Please update if you hear anything.

7 rejections, 1 invite. Hard to stay positive about the 7 other sites I have yet to hear from.![]()
Offering a bit of unsolicited advice:
If you are waiting to hear back re: an interview date and are anxious about booking flights as prices continue to rise, I suggest booking a flight on Southwest if possible. There are no change fees and there isn't even a fee to cancel your flight. You can choose to have the fare go back to your card (within 24 hours I think, but it may be longer) OR you can have whatever you paid held in your account to use on future Southwest flights. Also just an FYI, Southwest does not allow their fares to be displayed on travel aggregate websites like Priceline or Travelocity-- you'll have to go directly to the source.
Ditto rejection from WPIC.Rejection from WPIC on 12/02, rejection from Southwest Consortium on 12/01, and rejection from UCSF (minority cluster) on 11/25
Okay yeah that is a tad bizarre."We are in receipt of your application to our program. Our interview is January 8th, 2015. Interviews will begin at 9:00AM. Please let me know if you will attend."
That was it. No opening or closing greeting. No hint of interview in the subject line. I read the first line sleepily at 7:00AM this morning and was sure I got rejected. Hahaha.

Various dates from Dec 15th through Jan 27.
Neither myself or the other person from my program who applied there has heard anything. They have a new training director this year, so perhaps that's why their timeline looks different.Has anyone heard from the Durham VAMC? Last year they notified applicants 11/27 and then sent rejections 12/6...
Hey there, I'm now sure what track he/she was referring to, but I was invited today as well for the Neuro track. Best of luck to you. Hopefully they'll contact you soon. Can you share which track you applied to?

Invitation for interview
Personal email - I was scheduled for interviews on January 15, 2015, but email states may be possible to see you on one of our other interview days which are not given.
How long do you think we should wait to contact a site after requesting interview dates? The invite I received on the 28th still hadn't gotten back to me after I ranked in order of preference four dates. I am hesitant to schedule any other interviews on any of those dates, which is becoming somewhat difficult. They said that once they hear from us and are preferred dates they would send a confirmation but I haven't heard a peep. Thoughts?
Hi all! I've been trying to update since yesterday but for some reason having a really hard time with my updated post saving my work. 🙁
I'm continuing to try but facing some technical difficulties.
Somehow my thinking got a little more flawed than usual, so I have some questions:
Has anyone gotten an invite for the U Florida neuro track?
Has anyone gotten an invite for positions #14 or #10 at UCSD/VA?
Or for that matter, a rejection from Duke neuro?
