Congrats. Maybe they heard our cries on here last night and wanted to save us from baked goods. Do you know what dates are left? / Any other information you can share? How are they scheduling? Still calling peeps?

INVITE - FCC Petersburg

Phone call (I missed the call, reverse # look up, called them back)
Interview dates - Not sure. They let me give them a date that worked with my schedule (bonus!)
8am to 2-4pm (depends TD said)
Have to take an employment test prior to interviewing

Phone call from Sutter Center for Psychiatry (part of Central California Psychology Internship Consortium). This was apparently a screening interview for those selected and they will send out official invites in the next few days. Interview days will be Wednesday and Thursday January 13th and 14th.

3 miniature chocolate chip (up for grabs in the break room--couldn't justify taking more than 3)

Also-
Email from Suffolk University apologizing for being human and accidentally forgetting to BCC rejectees instead of CCing them in the mass emails (10 per email)

I get it--I'm sure that as hard as I looked there was a mistake in my application somewhere. Bound to be a few mixups in this process.

Ditto. I thought their rejection letter was one of the nicer ones (I'm becoming a connoisseur). AND the TD sent a follow-up email suggesting other VA's to apply to. Man, I hate it when they are so nice.
 
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has heard from Ann Arbor VA. In their brochure, they state that they "may" contact highly competitive applicants to remind them of their open house. I was not sure if they had sent out any reminders. Thanks!

I'm still waiting on University of Tennessee, Several folks in my program have gotten interviews at MUSC child track.
 
I didn't see this site on the interview list on page one; I received the email invite before I joined sdn. Sorry if this is redundant.

It seems like a lot of us applied to American Lake VA. I wonder if they got swamped this year bc they were in phase ii last year. I am waiting to hear from ten more sites, but a few indicated they wound notify applicants after the 15th.

Not a peep from Ann Arbor. Are people only planning on going if you get a message prior?

No words of wisdom you haven't heard. Just wasn't ready for a phone interview with a panel of 7 people and a series of 5 questions to be answered in an average of 6 minutes each during a 35 minute interview. The questions were reasonable, but oddly phrased, and I didn't do what I know how in most instances.

Also, don't let one of your top three sites be your first interview of the season.

Sounds brutal. Thanks for sharing. I hate to prolong the suffering, but any chance you recall what the questions were specifically?

Oh Wow! That sounds horrible! That's a really short phone interview...I thought they were usually at least an hour. Did they at least give you a chance to ask them questions?
