p.s. i'm sorry for my jargon.

Thank you!!

Has anyone received an application for the introduction to basic sciences course yet?

anyone knows when this school usually sends out ii, like is there any specific time of the month usually? or are they just done sending out interview invites??

Does anyone know if we have to pay tuition for the summer program? I couldn't get any info on that, and I'm fairly interested.

Also, in terms of housing, anything we can do at this point? I'm not sure if I want to do off-campus housing or live in geneva. In any case, can we put in our names to the list for Madison and Jefferson for example as early as now?

I was placed on the HPA list 1 week ago, interviewed back in early December. I'm in such a mix of happiness and disappointment. Really crossing my fingers since this is my top choice. Is May 15th the first day anyone hears about movement? Please let this be a year with good movement!

Would it be wise to fill out the FAFSA information before I hear anything just in case?

+1 I was also wondering this. I think that perhaps once the semester is over students will be moving and things will open up, but that cuts it close to the start of the fall semester.

Really hoping today is the day the adcom meets and sends out a ton of post interview responses!

So let's say someone that doesn't have the Statistics requirement gets accepted off the HPA list, but it's too late to take a course...what happens then? Any ideas?

Do they wait until May 15th to start calling people on the HPA or is there a chance we may hear sooner?

You wouldn't be able to attend, in order to agree to accept their offer you have to sign paperwork confirming that you've met the pre-matriculation course requirements.

The day to hold one acceptance is actually April 30th this year, so it may be sooner than May 15th, but I don't know if it will before the April 30th date.

Does anyone know anything about the 2nd visit day? I unfortunately will not be able to attend and I would just like to know if I am missing anything important

I interviewed on Jan 21, I guess I should hear back in the next week?

First of all, huge congrats man! But on another note, wow, that's significantly longer than the five week wait period we were told at the interview. I'm guessing this is a common experience for many people?

Also, for those who have been accepted, how exactly does the portal change?

I was accepted early this season and have a poor memory (which great news considering I'll be starting med school soon). But anyways, IIRC the "congratulations! you have been selected for an interview" sign goes away, and a couple weeks later, a "congratulations you have been accepted!" comes up with a link to pay the $100 fee to hold a seat. As soon as you pay, everything goes away and kind of looks like the pre-interview screen, where the only link is to your "Fall 2015" application. You should probably get a packet in the mail some time after.

can't wait til the second week of february when i hear back about my interview!

Well I was supposed to hear back a week ago...does that mean I'll actually hear back in 2016?

Check your spam folder for the orientation info, it would have gone to mine if I didn't have a filter set.

In case anyone cares, I called them today and they told me they have committee meetings every other week on Wednesdays. They didn't have one today, so they'll have one next week.

I actually care quite a lot! Crossing my fingers that the second week of Feb finally comes next week!

my "congratulations! you've been selected for an interview" or whatever it said is gone, but there's nothing in its place, no "decision made" or anything. is this normal?

+4!!! yesss
Does this mean we will hear back today or next week?

I'm hoping today! Seems like the trend has been 1 to 2 days after portal change. If not today, do you think they'd send an email over the weekend?
