I just received my mcat score today and it was a 8/12/9 - 29 (V/BS/PS). My previous score was a 7/10/9-26. I am a honors molecular biology and biotechnology major with a 4.0 GPA. Some of my extracurricular include: TA, shadowed a pathologist, publication, research for two years, worked at a doctors office for three years, chair at a research conference, presented 3 different papers, interviewer for incoming freshman ect. I live in MI, do I have a good change to get into any MD schools?

I think you do have a shot. Your ECs and GPA are great, and none of your MCAT subscores are below an 8. Also, you improved from your first score, which is good also. It's going to be a bit of an uphill battle, however, I think you do have a shot. There have been people with MCAT scores less than 30 who got interviews and acceptances. Here's the thread for reference: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=351659

I'd say you have a shot too for some of the lower tier Michigan schools.
