I submitted mine more than a week ago but it still says

"The Office of Admissions is in the process of setting up your record in the student information system. After the process is completed, you may pay your processing fee. Sign out and return later to pay.

If this persists for more than 3 days, contact the Office of Admissions via email at [email protected]. Be sure to include your AAMC ID."

Probably where you log in? Where it used to have the secondary of you to fill out. Mine just reminds me that my fee waiver is processed haha
 
Anyone else having difficulty with the portal?

I used 3 different browsers before I could get on. Firefox worked the best for me.
 
OOS, 3.7/37, top ECs (see MDApps)
 
3.88/31, nontrad with good EC's with interesting background/hobbies. IS.
 
Side note: Does anyone know if DS is amicable to update letters prior to IIs?
 
My interview is scheduled on the same day that I have another interview at a different school. Can I assume they will be open to re-scheduling?
 
II earlier today! Wish we could choose our interview dates so we don't have to miss class etc. but I suppose it could be worse.
 
If anybody who has recently received an II has any questions, feel free to ask. Wile I only have one week of medical school under my belt, and can not comment on anything like that, any questions on interview day, why i chose downstate, etc, are fair game!

What can interviewees expect on interview day?

Standard 2 interview format. Presumably curriculum pitch, fin aid talk, tour as well

Just 1 interview, not 2 (unless they changed it last year, but I don't think they did), and can't recall if there's much of a fin aid talk, but yes to the other things.

Not 100% sure it's random but it's definitely not chronological, FWIW.
