I submitted my secondary on 7/6, with LORs received, and still have a red X on "In Progress".
I just called the admissions office (submitted 7/10). They were incredibly nice. They told me that the timeline can vary from person to person depending on the reviewers and stuff, but we should expect to be in progress soon, and as long as the rest of the check marks are green, everything is alright. Maybe whoever is in charge of reading our applications is on vacation! I feel like most schools give a timeline of 4-6 weeks, so once it passes that point, I'll be on the verge of pulling my hair out, lol.

so wait if i got the green check and didnt get an interview today that means im done?
No, I think it just means that they didn't decide to give you an interview yet. According to their website, they send invites after each committee meeting, which is why people get a rush of invites all at once. Also, green check means that it's *started* review, it doesn't mean that it's finished yet. So from my understanding, you could still be invited for interview if your application hasn't gone to committee yet, if it isn't done being reviewed yet, or if they decide to hold it and re-review it later. I could be totally wrong though. This is just a guess.

No you're not done. Stay optimistic. This process is so unpredictable, it all depends on who has your file... I would not be worried at this point. A friend of mine got an II on October for a January interview and got in in March. For those of you who asked about the interview dates, the earliest (when I scheduled two days ago) is October.

Last night I couldn't sleep well , I was dreaming that I was going to an interview in Chicago- somewhere, then me my mom and my GF were being chased by homeless people and a woman that looked like a zombie; she looked like she was straight of the walking dead; then I was in an interview in a small city somewhere in the midwest that had a lake of coke-cola and the dean of the school was asking me for some "calming pills" and I had to refer to him doctor specialist. To top off I was in California interviewing somewhere in the beach and I went to an area that I was not permitted and got my interview revoked. So I woke up this morning and first thing went to check my email and I had II from Tulane.
Moral of the story, if you are loosing it, you are not alone, there is hope. 😵

Edit: No drugs involved

I see it as being on the interview waitlist when you have green checks. Waiters got to wait.

Does anyone know how many interviews they usually give out per season?

Based on what I've read they average around 10k applicants, ~500 interviews, ~200 spots. At least for the last 2 years. I think they had very small-no wait list movement for the class of 2018 and a bit for 2019. They do an unranked waitlist as well.

MSAR will give you the exact figures for everything except number accepted post interview.

On that note, does anyone know what their rough post interview rate is? MSAR says they interviewed around 500 for around 200 spots last, which seems like good odds to me. Any of you guys coming on 9/28? I'm so excited to visit Tulane!
You didn't go to prep school in New Hampshire by any chance, did you? (Asking bc of your profile pic)

Does anybody else not have any IIs? I feel like everyone is getting them and I'm sitting here with none. I can't help but wonder

Yep, same here. I've been complete at most of my schools since early-mid July so I'm starting to get slightly nervous, even though I know it's early in the cycle.

I have a really good feeling the week of 13-18 is still in progress or something... There's no way no one got an interview from that completion range
