Best of luck to you too! I am rooting for all of us older folks! I have had a lot of fun things happening lately (went to a wedding, signed a new apartment, started a new internship) and I tried to find the time and could not easily find it. I knew someone here would have it. We are here!
 
I'm hoping to get my primary in by mid June.

I bet this has been covered before, but you're as well off just sending it to any random school so it gets verified right? Once it's verified, you can send it pretty much instantaneously to other schools on your list?
I've been working on finishing the primary but I still haven't picked out my entire list of schools. I'm trying to get that all sorted out in the next couple of weeks but it looks rough.

Does anyone know of any private schools that do NOT practice rolling admissions?

Gogogo!! The activities were the hardest part for me. Admittedly I have two MM statements to work out still.
 
Ugh finally got ahold of the school I'm waiting on for my last transcript and they didn't mail until the 30th. Not sure why it took them two weeks but looks like I'm waiting a bit. I'll still submit tomorrow but it won't go anywhere

Anyone noticing that the total amount due for the AMCAS does not match up the $160 + $35 per school after the first? Or maybe I'm lucky and they're just charging me extra?

EDIT: I just figured it out myself. It is $160 + $36 per school after the first. Apparently that extra buck is really worth it.

Ah ya, one written of the two picked so far. Have to pick my third.

I am currently at:
4 shadowing experiences (1 MM)
1 reward/honor where i put all of my deans/presidents lists,
1 research experience (I might do MM here since MD schools love research).
1 medical volunteer (1 MM)
1 non-medical volunteer
1 work (might do MM because I worked here since 16 and have grown/learned a lot - but it is not medical)
1 hobby?

That puts me at 10, which feels light (though I have been in school straight through).
 
Blah, just got off the phone with my last school for transcripts followed by AMCAS (hour long hold right now btw).

Looks like my transcript is "most likely here" but they won't know until it's indexed which could be today or next week based on current volume and rate they are being indexed.

Long story short, order your transcripts way earlier than I did...

Hopefully they will be indexing fast... They supposedly lost my transcripts, so I sent them again last week (like Friday) and they are already entered...

My thought is that they found the one they lost, but I can't be sure.
 
my guess is they found the lost one as well because I had one entered today that wasn't send till yesterday (the second time)
 
Just finished up the finalized version of one of my MM experiences. The description is 698/700 characters and the MM is 1324/1325.

Hope I got the point across in that lol

I have an odd mix of ~700 characters and ones around 500... trying to make some thicker if I can without fluffing too much
 
I still cannot make up my mind what to do about MMs. I have a couple which are fairly solid, just by the virtue of being over a very long period, but they are not medically related. They have also contributed some experience which I suspect can be useful in a medical career. If I include them, I cannot include any of the more clinically oriented things, which to be honest, are not exactly ground breaking. So I'm stuck between good non-medical and trying to drum up some trivial pre-med things. 🤔

Jealous... I decided I need to have a fresh set of eyes on everything...will submit by tonight or tomorrow hopefully.
