Only date offered despite saying the 20th was also an option on their APPIC page...and I already have an interview in another state on the 13th 🙁. No skype or phone interviews allowed either. I'm screwed!

Did you ask them whether they could possibly do another date? A lot of sites will accommodate if they can. And, if the first site had multiple dates, you might be able to work it out with them if Pacific Psychology can't accommodate you. I had something like this come up and it worked out just fine.

I tried. Unfortunately they told me they were unable to accommodate any other days or options. The first site also only had one date available, but I did email them to ask if I could possibly do a Skype or phone interview, or come in another day. Keeping my fingers crossed hard because I really like both sites 🙁

That's sweet of you! I'm actually okay with it. Yes, it was definitely specific to that track/SCP site. It only talked about that location, and it was signed by two staff members who work at the SCP.

I'm sure someone has already answered this but what do you do when a sites date has passed and you have not heard either way is it etiquette to email them and ask

I did that the other day, the TD was very nice and apologetic but I'm not sure I would do it again... I think I would try to be patient for a few more days before reaching out.

Thanks for the advice! Did she say why it was taking longer? Like are the sites just backed up or haven't sent out rejections or waiting to hear back from invites?

Just said they were behind but would be sending out notifications by the 15th.
 
Hello Everyone!

I have a huge favor to ask. Due to travel complications I can only attend the interview date offered on January 23rd at the Memphis VA. They have available dates on January 9th and January 13th. If you would be open to switching to either of these dates please PM me as soon as possible. I would be forever grateful as this is one of my top sites. Thank you!
 
Thought I would try one more time: Is there any kind soul out there that has an interview at Children's National on January 4th that would be willing to swap for January 11th?

Not really good, or bad. Kind of neutral. We gets lots of e-mails, people tend to either read it and forget it, or read it and send a fairly standard reply back. I've never seen it sway a decision either way, and whether or not someone sent a thank you e-mail does not come up in the final ranking meeting. That being said, I'd go with the individual interviewers rather than the TD. The TD is getting bombarded with e-mails through the entire process, and this is just another one they have to decide what to do with. Some sites will also expressly ask you not to send thank you e-mails. About half of my interview sites asked us not to.

Hi everyone, two questions:

1. Has anyone heard from or emailed the Los Angeles County Psychology Internship in Corrections in the twin tower jail? They are passed the notification date and I have heard nothing and haven't seen any posts. I tried emailing them before applications were due to get more information on the program and they never got back to me then either.

2. Has anyone complete the BOP pre-employment interview yet (an integrity interview which addresses issues of personal conduct)? If so, what should I expect? I believe this is the interview portion after the computerized Core Values Assessment.
 
Still waiting on Los Angeles as well... as for your second question... no idea, but we will find out soon!
