Mount Sinai Beth Israel sent out mass invites and mass rejections but I did not get either. IDK what to think.

I'm up to 7 rejections and only two interviews. I'm not liking my odds...Help.
In the same boat about odds. Only 1 official rejection, but no interviews. I've noticed some people have been notified for three of the sites I've applied for. It feels a little defeating.
Same. One rejection, no interviews, but only 2 sites listed out of 15.
Same. I'm pretty upset about this one.
I had a similar feeling and I am also reminding myself that it's still relatively early in the process. We have two weeks until December 15th and some sites did not notify folks until December 30th last year. We are going to be okay.

Lolz. No, it was an email with an attached Word document informing me I'd been rejected.
Hopefully there will be good news for both of us tomorrow!
haha ok, I was gonna say, that's a fancy rejection!
I had a similar rejection from Lancaster General Health. The subject line of the email read as "Internship application interview", there was a Letter attached only to say that unfortunately they cannot offer an interview. They really need to come up with a less painful way of rejecting.😵

Appreciate your work and understand your busy schedule. Any chance you could let us know when you expect to post today? I would love to stop refreshing email/this thread and just cross off sites on my list and move on with life. Knowing an expected time of updates would help.
Ditto. My heart was crushed by this email. Trying to remain positive! Today was a rejection heavy day. *shoves spoonful of ice cream in mouth*
Yep. I really thought I would get an interview there. This one hurt.
I have a fair number of interviews, but also a good number of rejections and sites that have given out interviews I haven't heard from, so I assume more rejections are coming my way. I'm trying to remind myself that I knew I would get more rejections than offers, but I'm still feeling pretty bummed today. Just putting that out there in hopes of validating some of the sadness/frustration/anxiety that others have already expressed.
Had to send out a research proposal due today but I'm starting the update now! It'll probably take awhile since I have to update for two busy days. I'll add an "update" post when it's finished. Thanks for your patience, everyone!

Me also. One invite, two rejections and no news from the others I applied to. Only three are listed on here as others having received an interview for. I keep reminding myself that there are still two weeks left. My TD told me yesterday that sites go through piles in multiple stages and it isn't over until you receive the rejection.

Has anyone heard from the Clinical Child/Pediatric Health track at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor? I saw the the Menninger Clinic and Neuro Tracks have gone out, hoping for news from this track.
I'm also waiting on this -- really hoping the child track hasn't gone out yet!
I have a full day of scheduled clients today. In a way, I am kind of happy about it, will stop me from literally staring at my phone all day long.
Hoping today is better than yesterday everyone!
Have the Menninger Adult/Adolescent track invites gone out? I didn't apply there but promised a friend to let her know if it showed up on here.
From what i can tell they haven't. and it seems in line with last year - where they sent out the other tracks first and adult/adolescent were later.

It feels like it's been a long wait so far, but I promise a lot of the action is about the get started. When I applied, I heard back from 60% of my sites in between Dec. 12th and Dec. 15th. A lot of sites seem to really lean on having such a long deadline to get back to you, even though it makes you think "WTF you've had my application for a month now!" The selection process adds tens of hours to the committee's daily workload, so it can take a little longer to hear back. Of course, it doesn't help when you've barely heard from sites but you see a ton of other folks on here constantly adding new sites they've heard from or been invited to interview. This site, in my experience, is really a blessing and a curse. It's a great place to get support/information/vent, but it's also impossible not to compare yourself to others or be affected by things that come up on the board. Your time will come! And this year the balance between sites and number of applicants is better than it's been in awhile, so rest assured, there will be a positive outcome at the end of the day!
