I submitted my application a couple weeks ago via the FDA website, though our school told us the deadline is 11/20/15 for applying. I'd imagine that it will take a while for everyone to hear back.

Some students at our school have just begun to hear back. The preceptors that are interested will reach out directly. Our school said we will know by the end of February if we do not get a rotation there.

There generally are quite a few applicants from my school, but I don't know even an approximate number of applicants from this year or past years. I also don't know if our school is contracted with the FDA. Sorry I'm not much help!
Just got a call today from a preceptor here who wanted to interview me. I don't know if that's standard practice, but she said she'll make a final decision next week.

No, I think there's plenty of time. I've heard many preceptors are slow. You have till the end of February, I think!

Very general questions: tell me about yourself, what do you want to do, what's your availability, etc.

Did they tell you when they would let you know if you got the rotation or not? Please cross your fingers I hear from them soon!

Just found out about a week ago that I'll be there in Nov-Dec. Does anyone have any idea what they're doing for housing?
I have a question about housing too. I will be in Silver Spring, MD in january for a month. So, would like to know if anyone from here will be there during that time. Also, do I need to apply for intern license of MD? Or DC? Or do i even have to apply for one at all? Would appreciate the info. Thank you
