I was looking at the sections on the new 2018 DAT And for the QR I don’t see any geometry or trig. Has this been completely removed from theDAT? This was my source? Anyone recently taken the exam and seen trig?

I saw it on 2018 ADA DAT lookbook

I took the DAT last week and there were a couple geometry/trig problems but not a lot.

I took it in January and can tell you with absolute certainty I had a trig problem. It was hard too. Though there were very trig/geometry problems overall.

I think most students don't have as many trig problems as they used to have. I personally didn't have any difficult trigonometry on my exam. However, it is important to know 30,60,90 and 45,45,90 triangles, basic SOH CAH TOA, and the Pythagorean theorem.
