Same here... working on sending a letter of interest. I Interviewed in October and we were told that everyone who didn't hear back for the first round of acceptances in December would automatically be waitlisted and reviewed as they continued to interview more people. If you interviewed before December and haven't been rejected post-interview, I think it's fair to assume that you have been waitlisted.

Thanks so much for this! I greatly misunderstood what they said lol. I thought they had said that the committee would meet in January and we would hear something after that. I guess I need to start working on my letter. Do you know if they ever officially tell you they put you on the waitlist and if so by when?

I feel you. The application in consideration email seems to be only for those who interviewed though, not for us waiting for an invite!

I don’t think so lol, I interviewed 4 days ago so I doubt it’s a WL but more so they just didn’t get to it yet.

Also, based on the wording of the email:

“As always, we wish you the best of everything, and look forward to more communication with you. If there is anything you would like to share with the Committee, please let me know.”

Are they essentially encouraging LOIs/updates? I honestly don’t have much to update but I want them to know I’m still very interested. Does anyone have any insight into how Einstein historically views updates, especially in this weird no man’s land that’s not a waitlist but sort of is?
