Feel free to add your Sankeys below 🙂
Hoping to make this a community repository

In addition to the school lists provided by Faha et all in the WAMC forum, I found that Sankey diagrams from past cycles helped me manage my expectations and gave a better picture of where I stood as an applicant. To that end, I wanted to try to create a megathread here for people to share their cycle results with as much or as little detail as they feel comfortable sharing to support the applicants of subsequent cycles. You can find mine below, and if applicants have questions, I'm open to answering DMs!

Disclaimer: Reading Sankeys is likely as esoteric of a process as reading match lists (or tea leaves). My experience was that I found the information helpful and I found that my results were similar to those past sankeys that resembled my own application. Your results may vary, take everything with a grain of salt, comparison is the thief of joy, etcetera etcetera etcetera.

Genersting a Sankey: I used this Reddit post to help me navigate SankeyMATIC as I made mine, but Admit.org has also come out with a much easier to use tool.

Also, if you are ready to share your results, please complete out the Spring 2025 Applicant Experience Survey so we can dig deeper into potential trends among applicants to health professions programs.

LINK: Introduction

It helped us with a previous article about timing... and more Sankeys!

why don't your school lists match the Sankey, and why didn't you use the same colors for both?
Where will you attend?

Congrats on the acceptances! Where are you thinking of matriculating? Hopkins or Vanderbilt seem like the best options. Having seen Nashville for Vanderbilts across the street cousin Belmont, it is an amazing city.

I was between Michigan and Hopkins, but the cost ended up being equal so Hopkins is the easy choice 🙂

The colors should be the same between both? Red, green, and purple.

The lists and the Sankey don't match because I applied to schools that neither list recommended and didn't apply to schools that the lists recommended. My final list is different from the lists recommended to me.

Edit: I found one error so far, I'll fix them as I find them. Sorry about that.
