Is rolling admissions the same as high priority wait list or how do people know whether they are high priority?

historically they are different, however this year is a bit different and generally expect very little WL movement given the Gottesman gift is now in full effect.... any movement that will happen this cycle will likely happen in the next 10-15 days as students withdraw from WLs, get off lists at other places and every school has a few spots shift.

In past years there has been pretty high movement but I am doubtful that many students who get in are withdrawing from free tuition + a great clinical program etc etc...

The email titled "Rolling Admissions" states, "We are now in rolling admissions status. We appreciate how important this status may be to you...please let us know if you would like to remain on our wait list." It very cryptically lets you know you are on a WL. I am assuming this differs from another style of email that says "Waitlist" in the subject, which is why people infer that Rolling Admissions = HPWL as distinguished from regular WL. I could be so wrong! Is anyone able to provide clarification?
 
anyone know if einstein started waitlist movement?

What about an email that has "waitlist" in the subject, but in the actual email it says, "At this time, we are now in rolling admissions status. We appreciate how important this status may be to you, and we want to be able to answer your questions, and support you through the remainder of the application process as much as we can. Please let us know if you would like to remain on our wait list...etc"

Would that count as high priority waitlist or not?
 
From what I can tell, the HPWL emails said rolling admissions in the subject. i think what you are describing is the regular waitlist email. its not very clear though

if it says rolling my understanding is that is high priority

tbh tho, i would not expect that much more movement

when did you guys interview and get the HPWL email?
 
I really really hope they have more waves of taking people off HPWL. Does anyone know if they did that last year or it was all in one go?
 
Also accepted off HPWL today! I know there's the discord, but is there a groupme with just accepted students or anything? (Interviewed in January put on waitlist in april)

This was my first time filling it out so I had to release the document. I think it's automatically sent to all schools
 
does anyone think there will be another wave of As before midmay? on HPWL but have a CTE deadline in mid may (next week)... am i cooked 🙁
 
For those accepted off the HPWL on Thursday, how many days you have to commit? Trying to see when second wave may be.

my waitlist email said this ^^ and I got in on Thursday! So I probably was indeed on the high priority waitlist, even though my email looked different to other people's. Just something for people to know/keep in mind because it seems like the whole high priority wait list thing is very ambiguous.
 
In last few years I have seen another wave in second half of May? Are we expecting it this week or closer to two weeks from the first wave?
 
^^ does anyone know the size of the current accepted students class and if they have another wave?
 
Did anyone else get a call this morning confirming that they are still interested? They said they were "going down the list to confirm as things are moving very quickly" and that it was not an acceptance call (lmao), but wondering if this is good news, or if they truly are just checking and I shouldn't get my hopes up. For context, I interviewed in December, sent a letter of interest right when the HPWL email came out, and a letter of intent when I got the still interested email.
 
Admitted students, do you have a Commit to Enroll deadline?

I did not receive one. Interviewed end of January and was on the HPWL
 
I didn't receive one either. Interviewed in september and HPWL in March. I have been in regular contact with the school though
