Still nothing?
Same here. Looks like the first reported secondary on SDN from the 2023-2024 cycle was July 19th, and CycleTrack was July 14th, with the majority going out about a week later

Is this school worth applying to as OOS with no ties? I have seen mixed things online and MSAR is a little gray area.

according to the website (from class of 2027 data) 79% of entrants are from Ohio

I’m a current OOS M1 and we have quite a bite of people from OOS if you think the school is a good fit for you shoot your shot!

I’m ED so that could be a factor. The email was titled “Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Early Decision program invites you to take the next step with your application”. So maybe they just sent out to ED people first?

They are exactly the same as last year except the connection to wright state and boonshoft questions are combined rather than separate and this is a new question:

If you are a re-applicant, how has your application changed since the previous cycle? If not, please enter N/A. (750 characters)

Are they asking if you are a re-applicant to their school or in general?

Great question. The question asking if you have applied to WSU in a previous cycle is right before this one, so IDK. I think I'll take the opportunity to use it, since I applied last cycle, but not to WSU

Does a physician I shadowed (15 hours) who is a Wright State SOM alum count as a non-familial connection?

Yea I will too. Wouldn’t hurt!

I don’t consider myself non-trad but this application year will be my second gap year. Should I just answer yes for #10? I know gap years are becoming more common so I’m conflicted

I did and I'm in the same situation. This will be my second gap year. I've seen conflicting definitions of non-traditional but I know people in the same boat who have considered themselves non-traditional and are attending BSOM so I think its up to you!

For this question: Is this your first medical school application cycle?
If I submitted a primary in 2023 to a throwaway school but withdrew in August 2023, do I say Yes?

I would say no if you withdrew. But I could be wrong. I’m not 100% sure.

Has anyone else not received the confirmation email? I submitted 7/31, and they said "Please allow 5 business days for an email confirming your application has been received and processed."
