Congrats! Does anyone know if they are sending IIs in order of submission date, bc that seems like a huge jump from 7/9 to 7/28+1 IS II. LM 75. Complete 7/28.
Super excited! I also can't register right now, but I'll probably try again in the morning before contacting them.

I was complete 7/9.Congrats! Does anyone know if they are sending IIs in order of submission date, bc that seems like a huge jump from 7/9 to 7/28
Not sure about Einstein but in general, I’ve heard that it’s often luck of the draw in terms of how quickly your application is read by your designated reviewers.Congrats! Does anyone know if they are sending IIs in order of submission date, bc that seems like a huge jump from 7/9 to 7/28
Some reviewers are super busy and have to wait a bit, while others get their work completed early.
For completeness, I was able to register this morning for a date.
Anyone have their interview yet or is tomorrow the first day?
Had mine last monday, quick easy and nice experienceAnyone have their interview yet or is tomorrow the first day?
I feel like I just bombed mine. They only asked a couple of questions and then left the rest of the time for me to ask questions. I asked a few questions I wanted to, but I feel like there were awkward pauses, and it ended after 25 minutes.Had mine last monday, quick easy and nice experience
Just interviewed here today. I saw that there is a virtual meet-up with students today to learn more about the school. On the interview portal it mentions a session on Friday afternoon called "Real Talk." Does anyone know if these are the same thing or if they are different? I haven't received any more info about the session on Friday so I'm just curious
They are different one is on fridays at 3:30 (real talk) and one is on your interview day at 4:30 at least I thinkJust interviewed here today. Does Einstein use rolling admissions? they mentioned in an email that they start sending out disposition letters on March1st, but if I interviewed in September do they make the decision earlier and just send the letter in March?

If you're applying for regular MD, you are correct in that they send out decision letters in early March. The only decisions that come out before then are for MSTP.Does Einstein use rolling admissions? they mentioned in an email that they start sending out disposition letters on March1st, but if I interviewed in September do they make the decision earlier and just send the letter in March?

got it thank you! do you know if applications are considered and decisions are made on a rolling basis and then just released in march? If you're applying for regular MD, you are correct in that they send out decision letters in early March. The only decisions that come out before then are for MSTP.
If decisions are released March 1st, committees usually meet to discuss all prior applicants 1-2 months before. A lot of competitive schools do this to assess the pool all at once.got it thank you! do you know if applications are considered and decisions are made on a rolling basis and then just released in march?
Rolling basis means just that - a wave of applicants interview, the committee meets, and releases decisions shortly after.

Thanks for the clarification! So for a school like this does it matter when you submit/do the interview? If decisions are released March 1st, committees usually meet to discuss all prior applicants 1-2 months before. A lot of competitive schools do this to assess the pool all at once.

NoDoes Einstein accept pre-II updates? I can't find anything about updates on their website or in the emails they have sent

The Calling follows the journey of a group of diverse medical students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx as they learn what it takes to become doctors in one of America’s most underserved communities.
Over the course of a year, the students share the humbling challenges they face, the crises of self-doubt and exhaustion, and moments of encouragement that inspire them to go on. Through their first encounters with patients, the students confront the flaws and inequity in the U.S. health care system as they question and rediscover the motivations that made them...

Go to the statistics section of admit.org they apparently get data from Usnews which gets the data from the schools themselvesdoes anyone know the post ii acceptance rate?

Agree with that. Just be yourself and know your application. My interviewer really seemed to have read it, and we had a really fun conversation that ran for over an hour.icic - does anyone have any tips for einstein ii? ive heard its p chill...
Admit.org is demonstrably false for many admission statistics. Checking admissions statistics there vs. school-published data on official websites show no correlation (NYU, stanford, etc.)Go to the statistics section of admit.org they apparently get data from Usnews which gets the data from the schools themselves

This is partly because many schools (including Einstein) have not submitted surveys to US News for the past 2 years. Even when there is accurate data reported to US News, what is posted is usually 2 cycles behind.
Accurate post-II rates unfortunately are not public now for many schools unless they post it on their admissions page. For 15,000 applications --> 1400 interviews (last cycle, first post-tuition announcement), a better estimate is 15-20% based on the class size and yield.

yeah per their school stats 966 interviews at 165 acceptances so like 17% 🙁Admit.org is demonstrably false for many admission statistics. Checking admissions statistics there vs. school-published data on official websites show no correlation (NYU, stanford, etc.)

Yeah admit.org for whatever reason is way off. Cycle track has honestly been a lot more representative if you want some data point to look at.Admit.org is demonstrably false for many admission statistics. Gotcha— so 40% was probably the accept rate before Einstein got swamped with applicants after going tuition free?Admit.org is demonstrably false for many admission statistics. Maybe, but I bet the number of total acceptances given out is much higher than one would think. Also, on Einstein's website they claim that 966 interviews were sent out in 2024, not 1400 (unsure where the other person got that information from).Gotcha— so 40% was probably the accept rate before Einstein got swamped with applicants after going tuition free?
This assumes 100% yield.yeah per their school stats 966 interviews at 165 acceptances so like 17% 🙁

wdym?This assumes 100% yield.
Einstein has 165 seats in the class. Most medical schools need to give more offers than seats. With free tuition I imagine their yield is high but it is probably not 100%.wdym?
