Also nothing. I heard from someone else that it takes a few days before the portal update/email. Likely tomorrow or Tuesday I imagine!

FWIW, those of use who were admitted in Dec didn't get a portal update until like early January. Very normal for Vandy it seems!

Pretty sure they take people off the waitlist every year. Def write the letter! It can't hurt.

Vanderbilt is known to have pretty bad yield, but idk much about waitlist movement. Just shoot your shot regardless

at second look, the financial aid director said they give out laptops to new students, but I'm pretty sure it's mostly to make sure we have the softwares and confidentiality needed to work in their hospitals.
