Hi guys, I remember during my interview (late Jan) that they said they were going to release decisions by late February, but I saw that last year they also had a wave of decisions come out in mid-March. Do you guys think there is only going to be 1 wave or will there be 2?
from last year's posts, it seems like they accept people in late February, and then if u dont hear anything back, the rejections and WLs get released in early March.

Bombed my Kira interview. Do I have any chance for an A ? 🤔
I know someone who got accepted last year and he told me that he also felt that he bombed the Kira interview. Honestly, as long as you didn't say you were a serial killer or mafia boss, I think most of us will be fine.

I didn't even address the prompt for one of the questions (I didn't understand it and I didn't even know what to say) and still got the A. I don't think they really care about the Kira part, it's mainly to show that they are trying to be objective. That doesn't mean future interviewees shouldn't prepare, but don't stress about it. The traditional interview is the real meat of the interview.

I heard their decisions are final from someone on admit but won’t hurt to try
Yeah, for sure they wouldn't reconsider merit scholarships out of the blue, but maybe they could help out given another offer from a different school, will try.

Vanderbilt says they give financial aid for up to 45% of demonstrated need. How is demonstrated need calculated? Or do we not know until they tell us? I haven't finished the CSS Profile yet, but would that say what my demonstrated need is?

Trying to figure out what the COA would be.
