Does Very High WL position automatically translate to the top tier waitlist or have there been people who got Very High but ended up in the lower/middle tiers?
Middle Third AL :/ Based on last couple years, seems like almost everyone from top third gets off, haven't seen many middle third get off

No, it seems like some top 1/3 people heard back 5/1 last year. My M1 friend said a lot of their class has to repeat, so they're saving spots in this class for them. Fingers crossed we hear something this week!Has anyone heard anything today?

I don't know too many details about it, she just mentioned there was a good chunk of students who needed to remediate compared to the M2/M3 classes. I thought she said the histology course module, not just the exam, tripped people up? I could be totally wrong so I don't want to share false info, she just mentioned they wouldn't know for sure until after their final exams and their remediations.Woahhh can you elaborate on that? Why so many repeats?

I’m an Ohio resident and on the top tier WL at Wright State. I was recently accepted at another school (out of state) that has given me until FRIDAY to Commit To Enroll. I called Wright and they said that hopefully they can get to me before Friday and offer an acceptance. I need your help!!!!!

How possible/easy is it to qualify for in-state tuition after first year as an OOS student? I heard some brief mention of this I think during interview day but I’m trying to make a final decision and I want to know how much of a factor the difference in cost could be…

I don’t have a concrete answer for you but I’ve had the same questions and the requirements seem to be very straightforward. BSOM financial aid told me it’s handled by the university but BSOM sends all OOS students information in April of their first year with info. How possible/easy is it to qualify for in-state tuition after first year as an OOS student? Basically you need to have a permanent Ohio address for 12 months, an Ohio drivers license, and (I think) be registered to vote in Ohio. So do all of that ASAP and you should have everything you need for M2 and after.

Thank you so much. So is it guaranteed or is there a potential that you get denied since it’s a loophole and you’re technically not supposed to qualify if you’re only in the state for educational purposes? Do you know any personally who got approved for it? Or know a concrete amount of OOS students who have gotten the reclassification?I don’t have a concrete answer for you but I’ve had the same questions and the requirements seem to be very straightforward. I'd encourage you to reach out to the university and ask. I don't know many specifics, although the "residency status for tuition purposes" requirements are set by Ohio law, not university policy. Everything I have heard makes it seem like it is a legitimate option for out of state students. The Ohio State page actually has a lot of helpful information as far as specific requirements, but it's not hugely complicated in terms of eligibility: General Frequently Asked Residency Questions - The Ohio State UniversityThank you so much. Has anyone else in top 1/3 heard anything? Or know anyone who got in past friday? All I've seen is A's sent out on May 1st but nothing after.
I got in on 05/01. I would assume they are waiting on everybody from 5/1 to make decisions (they gave us 14 days) before sending out another wave of A's! Wishing you the best and hopefully I will see you there!Has anyone else in top 1/3 heard anything? Or know anyone who got in past friday? All I've seen is A's sent out on May 1st but nothing after.
