Ya, but which one? There's a ton of hospitals with that name in SA, and presumably, there'll be more in the time being.
What do they pay anyway? What do they rank you with regards to placements in compounds?

Slaver wanted me to ask y'all a question. What area of pharmacy has the most earning potential? Also does it make a difference if I go to Northeastern or MCP? Thanks!

Oh and yeah, zpacksux really does suck. :meanie:
1) Employment is more profitable than unemployment.

2) Yes, if you show up at the wrong school on the first day they won't let you attend classes.

3) Ladies don't generally have a problem with this.

Don't district managers for retail pharmacies make like $200,000/year?

Didn't think VA & Babes belong in a same sentence.

Hmm..didn't know you were into that. I could invite some handsome older pharmaceutical regional managers to the party for you... if you would like.

Not that there is anything wrong with that sort of thing..

We'll try to remember the biggest cliche' motto..."what happens in Vegas stays in Vagas..."

Nope. I am a retail junkie. I will probably make it to APhA this year and nothing else.

But it's in Vegas baby!

*sigh*bagels 😀

Because it's the federal gubmint, no drug company catered meals, complementary bagles, etc...something about conflict of interest and crap like that

*sigh*bagles, donuts, mmm

Haven't you lived there long enough for the shine to wear off?

Spend one frickin' day in Salt Lake City...and you'll long for the glitz of Reno.

I miss the caramel M&Ms I had in Las Vegas. They quit making them. I can send you some bagels if it will make you feel better.

Awww...that's so sweet. How can I say something funny when you say something thoughtful like that!

👎 Boo, hiss! 😛 😉

...I can't even get decent hard liquor in this town. I'll have to stock up in Vegas and bring some up.

It's easy. Bagels lead to comments about cream cheese, which leads to comments about ... nevermind. 😳

Do they have the alcohol content restricted or something? I noticed that when we went to Las Vegas and bought Everclear it was only like 120 proof. Notably, pharmacists in WA state are the only ones allowed to possess Everclear, and it must be for compounding purposes.

Utah has the strictest EtOH laws in the nation. Goes with the mormonism

Funny....at the Army base I was at, we had no problem with reps taking us to lunch. Be all that you can be!

Back in my younger, foolish days, we'd mix 190 proof Everclear with Gatorade. 😱 Needless to say, my Everclear days are long gone. 😛

Ding ding ding...we have a winner! Alcoholic beverages available cannot be more than 4% EtOH by volume, or 3.2% by weight if purchased at a grocery store. They have state run liquor stores around town that offers other liquor (expensive!). That's why people regularly make runs to Wyoming and Idaho for the strong stuff and kegs. Cocktails supposedly cannot contain more than an ounce of alcohol. I'm not a cocktail drinker, so I wouldn't know.

We can't buy hard stuff, except at the liqour store. Still, some wines we have at the grocery store could not be bought in UT. My roomate was in CA last week and said they had hard liquor cheap at the groc store - store brands and all. This was a new concept to me.

Common sense would think that a polygamous state ought to have a very liberal EtOH law.. Thought having multiple wives would drive a man to drink really really heavily.
