Hey Everybody,
I'm new on the NSurg scene and I would appreciate some advice. I'm a junior student at the University of Miami School of Medicine; I just got back a 232 on Step 1 (94= 2 digit score). I was wondering what Sub-I's I should start considering applying for. I'd be most happy in the Northeast, but I'd pretty much consider any place on the West Coast or East Coast. I want to be realistic and not apply for out-of-reach programs: I havent started research yet (I'm getting started right now).
Basically a nice, well-rounded, hard working guy who would like to work with nice, normal well-adjusted residents. I'd appreciate any advice of what else to do to put together a competitive application.
Thanks so much! I've had a lot of fun reading the posts on this site. I'd appreciate any input from NSurg residents or hopefuls.
