OK maybe it's not so stupid, because I don't see it addressed on AADSAS's instructions anywhere and it hasn't been addressed on here...are you all entering coursework so that it ends up being reverse chronological? I was entering it chronologically and it automatically reversed it, so that session 1 is the latest coursework taken.

last year we entered it chronologically. but if it automatically switches it i'd just leave it how it puts it.

I did call and ask AADSAS btw, but she didn't understand the question the first time, and they've already given me incorrect info. once, so I don't trust them anymore. Now it's showing a summer session from 1990 in between Fall 1990 and Spring 1991...interesting. 😕

i am having trouble with the order of the semesters too eventhough i am entering everything chronologically. it puts fall semester before the spring semester!!! i guess we can enter the info however we want and the system will do whatever it wishes!! best of luck everyone!

NO, you arent correct...technically if you look at a school's calendar and use this last schools year (04-05) as an example it would look something like this:

Fall 04 (August-December '04)
Spring 05 (January-May '05)
Summer 05 (May-August '05)

When the fall semester comes around, the new school year begins so once fall semester starts, it would be considered the Fall of '06.

Technically, it goes fall, spring, summer.....fall, spring, summer....and so on.

I'm guessing you have semester system and everyone else has a quarter system which is why ur not having problems!!!!!!!

The other reason I am not having problems is because I applied last cycle. Things have changed a bit since then, however, same basic principles. Even if you are in the quarter system, the school year starts in the Fall. So it should work out the same in both scenarios (ie summer is the last quarter/semester of the year)

Relas, first of all...I was making a funny. 😉 Secondly, the order you listed above is precisely what I expected. However, that is not how it works with AADSAS. For example, it has my course sessions ordered fall '03, fall '04, spring '04, summer '04, whereas based on a school's calendar year (as you've outlined above) it should be fall '03, spring '04, summer '04, fall '05, etc. So, actually it does it by year...not was I was expecting, but hey if it floats their boat so be it. 👍

BTW, are you actually a streaker? I recently read a story about the intercollegiate streaking teams of certain eastern universities...good stuff. 🙂

I entered them chronologically, and then it ordered them. I bet it doesn't make a difference how you enter them.

Honestly - I don't think it matters either - just enter the correct info - and leave the rest to AADSAS
