hi

im in second year, and im planning to change my major

currently, im taking Animal Science in UCD

but this major requires lots of animal-related classes and total unit of 180

and i just realized animal isnt my thing

so im planning to change my major
but dont know what to do

my goal is to get into dental school. (UCSF or UOP if possible)

what should i do?
i know all the major are hard and stuff
but can you people recommend me some good majors
that i can maintain my GPA high enough for DAT?

people say choose whatever i love to take, im good at
but i dont really know what i want to, what im good at

i just want get into dental school.

thank you for advices!

ummmm....if you dont know what you're good at and/or like...how are "we people" suppose to know??? If you really need someone to tell you how to organize your life...call the 2 dental schools you're interested in and ask them.

People say it doesnt matter what you major in as long as your GPA/DAT is good and you do well in the pre-recs.

I would advise you to be careful if you choose to be a non science major: make sure you take and do well in upper divison bio classes

Because there are alot of people with heavy science backgrounds and good grades applying (microbio/cell bio/molecular bio/biochem/physiology/anatomy)

Just my 2 cents.
