Apparently to some schools I'm not far enough removed from my undergrad to be considered a non-trad applicant (graduated two yrs ago). I had a 2nd science letter when I was applying to grad programs years back but have had no luck getting back in touch...

This probably is a NO but would an EMT instructor count as a "science letter"? The program was through the ext. school at a 4-yr university. Yeah I'm getting desperate. haha. Some secondaries that I received say they want 2 science letters...I probably should have dug deeper into the LOR reqs before paying the AMCAS fee.

Yeah, I don't think that EMT letter is going to count. Are you sure you can't get back in touch with that professor? Have you tried everything? E-mail? Phone call? Knocking on their front door?

Have you tried emailing the dept head for the prof you can't reach?

I almost didn't graduate because a professor practically dropped off the face of the Earth without submitting my last grade, but CC'ing them on an email to the head of their dept asking for help reaching them did the trick. 🙂

I've only e-mailed her - once when I was applying to grad programs and then again now for med schools. Unfortunately I'm currently moving back East so I'm nowhere near my undergrad to do a visit. I'm going to call the school to see if they can track her down for me or at least let me know she still exists at the school.

Contacting the dean sounds like a good idea. Put some fire under their butt haha.
