UDM for example requires a 2x2 photo for identification. I was thinking of just wearing a button down for it but should I wear a tie too?
Do you really need physical copies? Why not just resize it in Word then copy and paste directly into the supplemental, then print the whole form?Best way to get physical copies is as followed:
1) Take a picture with phone or camera
2) Upload to computer, copy and paste the image onto MS Word
3) Right click the image, and resize to 2x2
4) Copy and paste that new image 8 more times
5) You will have 9 copies of your 2x2 photo on a MS Word document
6) Save this copy of MS word to a flash drive.
7) Go to any place that prints on photo paper, I used Office Depot
8) Tell them to print your document on photo paper.
If you go this route, you do all the size editing on your own computer and bypass the clunky printer software retail stores have. Some of these programs won't even let you re-size to 2x2 or it'll cost a lot more money. Office depot charges per photo paper and not per image. If you use their software, they will charge per photo =)
some schools require you to send in a physical copy. Roseman, pitt, and udm were some of them.
This might be a really stupid question, but Creighton wants "passport style"...does that mean I can smile or not?

I'm on my third passport (two were issued within the past couple of years because I lost one) and I have ALWAYS had an open mouth smiled in my passport pictures and have never had an issue with my photo being approved. I just make sure not to make it too big or squint my eyes too much. Maybe immigration likes my smile? 😛Nah dude, Creighton -- like Immigration -- hates joy.

No, not really. It wasn't that much more of a hassle than replacing an expired passport. First I called the US State Department and told them that my passport was lost and to disable it. I didn't file for a new one until few weeks later (that was by choice, not some required waiting time) when I filled out the form and sent all the components in. They processed it and got it to me within a few weeks, which is the normal waiting time. I think someone can also report a passport lost/stolen by just filling out the form and marking that they're seeking a replacement because the passport was lost/stolen instead of calling.Isn't a huge hassle to get your passports replaced? I was naturalized in the last couple of years, never lost my US passport (though it seems like I've lost my native country passport) and had always assumed that it would take forever for them to get you another.
Just use common sense with the picture. That's all it takes. For example, no, I don't anticipate someone will disregard the thousands of dollars and years of time you spent putting into an application because they noticed an earring was present in the 2x2 picture on a secondary. If it was something offensive, maybe they would. Are there any requirements for the photo? Like no smiling, ears showing, no jewelry (I always wear a small religious necklace and nose ring because of my culture)??
It should be on photo paper. Just go to a pharmacy and have them do it if you're lazy.Does it matter if it is on photo paper?
What happened to your Dr. Love profile photo, lolIt should be on photo paper. Just go to a pharmacy and have them do it if you're lazy.

99% no. As long as it's a good picture that's all that matters. The photo-paper just makes it more professional.I tried to get it done at Walmart while I was getting the passport photo taken and they didn't have photo paper (for whatever reason), so they printed it on card stock. I mailed them with the applicant took fee. Will this be an issue?

I couldn't get myself to not look ugly taking pics with my phone with poor lighting. I said "fk it" and went to CVS and paid $7. Still eneded up looking like a criminal. FML really..Still have a few of those photos leftover..What to do? burn them? lol
Random question, but I see that you applied to NOVA. Do they really require a letter of eval from a liberal arts professor? Or is 2 science and 1 dentist enough?
not sure if that's why I didn't get off the waitlist, but they had no problem inviting me for an interview without liberal arts letter. But to be safe, I'd have it ready.
I just didn't have one, nor did I know about that requirement until after I interviewed.
