This depends a lot on the rest of your application. If you need help picking schools outside of Texas that are likely the four most expensive in the country, I would be glad to help you it. If the rest of your application is outstanding I don't see why you wouldn't be a competitive applicant to Texas schools
You could take more science classes over the summer to be safe I suppose. You could also apply to cheap OOS.I think the rest of my application is decent (recs, essays, etc.) but I'm worried that my science GPA might not be good enough although I think my overall GPA and DAT are OK.

Yes. It's very rare that someone has a sci GPA higher than their overall.I had some other plans for the summer already set but if my science GPA is really low i would forgo that and just stay home and take more classes.. What would you recommend? Is it common for the science GPA to be a bit lower than the overall?
Can you list some cheap OOS schools for Texas residents? I sort of have the same stats, but I'll be doing my DAT later on. I'm just really stuck on choosing out state schools. This depends a lot on the rest of your application. Thanks, appreciate it!Ohio State, UConn, Rutgers, Buffalo, UNLV, sometimes Maryland (just like a,e,i,o u and sometimes y are vowels!) all offer in-state after the first year. Creighton and Pitt aren't exorbitant. There are others that I can't think of off the top of my head.
