Hey everyone,

some quick stats about me

Latino male (being a minority helps right?)
Psych major with chem minor
3.5 Overall GPA (harsh first and second year)
3.7 Science GPA (got my act together and decided on med school)

MCAT
I've taken around 8 practice tests and have been scoring around 25-29 range. Hopefully within the next 2 weeks I can get it 30+

1 year children hospital volunteer
President of health organization at my university
Research assistant for 2 semesters.

Working as a medical scribe for 6+ months, plenty of hospital experience.

I'll be applying for both DO and MD schools. I have a letter of rec from both physicians.

I'd love to go MD but I wouldn't hesitate to go DO if I were accepted. What are my chances at either?

Chances at DO med schools are excellent.

Chances at MD historically for Hispanic applicants in the last three years for 3.5/25=54% and for 3.5/30=77%. Your steep upward grade trend and high BCPM would help put you on the positive side of those stats.
