What are my chances with a 3.54 GPA, 505 MCAT? I have done research for a year, been working as a scribe for 8 months, now got promoted to site coordinator, I was President of an honor society, VP of a pre-med organization, done >100 volunteer hours, was a chem tutor, and was a freshman mentor for 3 years. I'm happy with my resume and activities. And I feel confident I will do well in an interview, I'm just nervous they won't even see my work or invite me to an interview with my numbers. What do you guys think?

For MD? Not great TBH but that may depend on the state you live in and if you are URM. Your activities are reasonable for MD but your scores are really going to hold you back without superb EC, and nothing you have listed fits that bill. Have you considered DO? You would be a great DO candidate.

You're fine for DO schools.
Your chances for MD depend on your state of residence.

Here are some schools to consider:
Quinnipiac
NYMC
Albany
OUWB
Western Michigan
Rosalind Franklin
Creighton

My state of residence is Texas. Is that better or worse?
And thank you!!

I agree with above. You might get an MD acceptances but the chances aren't good. With a healthy application of DO schools you should find an acceptance somewhere.

That is pretty important to mention... there are a lot of texas schools and they have a separate application system. I do not know too much about your chances there, I will leave others to answer.

Ahh good to know. I know we have our TMDSAS application, but to be completely honest I don't know what advantages that gives me with my numbers. I am Asian but that's not URM.

this may be helpful to you. Looks like what will hurt you the most is not your MCAT but your GPA. Looks like about 30% matriculate with an MCAT at your score or lower and 20% with a GPA your score or lower. Those aren't the worst odds, probably worth applying with your solid EC resume.

Highly recommend you make a solid list of DO schools to apply to as well. I think you will have much more success there.

Yea i guess they're okay odds, I do want to try and apply.

Yea I have 6 schools on my DO list: TCOM, Michigan State ($86k/yr though...), School of Incarnate Word (brand new in TX), Chicago COM of Midwestern, Philadelphia COM, NYIT COM

Your DO list is too top heavy. Those DO schools are on par or have higher stats than you.
PCOM: 3.5/504
CCOM: 3.6/508
MSU: 3.6/504
NYIT: 3.6/504

Add some other southern schools to increase your chances: ACOM, VCOM-Auburn, WCU, KCU-Joplin etc
