Hello all,
I just wanna hear some feedback about what I should do for this application cycle. I took the MCAT on June 2 and didn't feel great about it (nervous, bad luck with tested material, etc.) but I assumed I would do close to as well as my AAMC practice scores which ranged between 510-511. BUT..... got my score back and it was a 506 with low P/C sciences section :/

ECs and LORs:
-Asian female
-VA resident
-~3.82 science and cumulative GPA
-Varsity sideline and competitive cheerleader (national championship) -4 years
-volunteer phlebotomist at free clinic - 200 hrs
-part time job throughout last three years of undergrad
-summer research internship at a medical school - 3 months/40 hrs a week; publication
-3 years undergraduate research in molecular biology - poster presentation at international conference and -completed honors thesis on my work
-50 hrs shadowing
-lots of non-clinical community service
-just accepted a full time scribe position for my gap year
-7 solid LORs put together in a letter packet by pre-med advisor (3 science professors - one of which was research mentor, coach, free clinic supervisor, summer research advisor, philosophy professor)

Have already submitted my primary application...here's some of the schools on my list......
Rush Medical College
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola Stritch
Eastern Virginia Medical School
George Washington
Georgetown
UVA
University of Maryland
Ohio State University
West Virginia University
Virginia Commonwealth University
Pennsylvania State

Any unreasonable? Any suggestions for additions? I really do not want to wait for the 2018 application cycle.

U MD was a waste of money, as was OSU.

I recommend:

Temple

Jefferson

Drexel

Quinnipiac

WVU

Rosy Franklin

MCW

SLU

Creighton

Loma Linda (but read their list of don'ts)

Albany

NYMC

VCU

U VM

EVMS

Oakland-B

Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)

Rush (note: very service/experience oriented with a 150hr service requirement. Avg student has 800 hours of community service, and >1800 hours of health care exposure.)

Netter

Your state school(s).

Any DO school, starting with WVSOM, all three VCOMs and CUSOM. I can't recommend LUCOM or Touro-NY.
