You could eliminate schools such as Kentucky, UF, UMichigan and UAB since they give preference to their own residents. Otherwise your list is good and you should receive several interviews.

Why omit Penn State? I get flak for this. Their parent body protected a child molester for > 20 years. What's that, you say? "But the med school didn't have anything to do with that!" I don't a give rat's ass. Tell it to Jerry Sandusky's victims.
