I am going to be a re-applicant this cycle and am highly considering retaking my MCAT in August. I was scoring in the 512-514 range on practices and I will have the time to properly prepare for my second attempt. Should I retake my MCAT and will schools even consider the new score if it arrives in September? Other option is to spend that time further strengthening my application with additional E.C.'s.
(Wayne and Jefferson are my top choices if that influences things...)

Current list of schools (including re-applicant status if applies):
Temple (reapplicant)
Jefferson (reapplicant)
Drexel (reapplicant)
Quinnipiac
Rosalind Franklin
SLU
Albany
NYMC
VCU (reapplicant)
Oakland-B
Michigan State CHM (reapplicant, waitlisted 1st go-around)
Western Michigan
Central Michigan
Wayne State (reapplicant)
Penn State (reapplicant)
Loyola - Stritch
Tulane

(I am pretty dead set on MD, but I know DO will be recommended.)

I am also considering applying to Canadian schools, but I am fairly uninformed as far as my chances go due to the lack of MSAR data. I have a Canadian citizenship (dual citizen, but not current resident) and have family living in Ontario (if that even matters...).

You should receive more interviews this time, especially from the Michigan schools you added (Oakland, Western Michigan, Central Michigan). You could add more schools such as:
Vermont
GW
Georgetown
Eastern Virginia
Toledo
Medical College Wisconsin
Creighton
any new private schools that may open for 2018 (Roseman, Seton Hall, Etc.)
Yes, and apply to at least 6 DO schools and you have MSUCOM and MU-COM in your region.

I applied to GW and Medical College of Wisconsin last time, but I will add them again. Do you know if the required Stats course for Creighton can be substituted somehow? I didn't take that with my degree program, but I completed Calc 1 and 2 to demonstrate mathematical proficiency while an undergraduate as well as an epidemiology course which was very stat heavy.

Your ECs are still weak. I suggest more service to other less fortunate than yourself.

Of school, I suggest:

Temple
Jefferson
Drexel
EVMS
Rosy Franklin
Loyola
WVU
MCW
SLU
Creighton
Loma Linda (but read their list of don'ts)
Albany
NYMC
VCU
Tulane
U VM
Oakland-B
Uniformed Services University/Hebert (just be aware of the military service commitment)
Netter
Your state school(s).
Any DO school. I can't recommend Touro-NY, or LUCOM, for different reasons

Check with Creighton and see if you can apply with what you have done already.

Considering my list along with this additional list of schools, is there a range of hours you would recommend that would supplement my current (prospective) application well?
