The UPitt application needs a 3-digit code on the back of my credit card in order to pay. But I can't find one... where is it supposed to be? I see a 7 digit code on the white strip with my signiture. Should I use the last 3 digits?

edit: i only have a visa card

yes use the last 3
and sir drake feels u are not worthy of a credit card
for you seem to be lost..if you dont have all the numbers memorized along with the holographic image your card will be taken along with all your chinese pottery! bah!

Should be split into 3 digits and 4 digits, they want the 3 digit part of that, or if it's not split, the last 3 digits

Hope that helps

😀

keep is safe...or else the pirate will hijack them! they are chinese 🙂

No No No...Thats not rite. The three digits are very small numbers on the back of ur card. Its on the strip where you sign your name. It is not the last 3 digits of your CC number..If its not on the back ..I think you better call your CC company.

I SWEAR my card doesn't have 3 numbers on the back. I suppose I could be blind though  The white strip on my card has 7 numbers... so i did what DieselPetrolGrl & getianshi said. I used the last 3. UPItt accepted my info. So I'm assuming I did it alright. Silly credit cards are making this process more complicated than it needs to be :meanie:

All cards have 7 numbers, but they're usually split into a group of 4 followed by a group of 3. The first 4 are the LAST 4 digits of your CC number, and the last 3 are your "secret code of mystery."

And yes, I'm talkin' about the little digits printed on the white stripey thing you sign on the back.

Hopefully there will be no more confusion about this most distressing step to getting into medical school😉
