I think that all the schools are about the same for undergrad . . . unless you are actually doing research every school provides the same education (as I said Organic Chem taught in undergrad is the same everywhere). As for graduate or medical education the school you attend matters more since your research or clinical experiences will be different depending on where you go and who teaches there.

I really don't believe that. Organic chem maybe standardized in having some type of curriculum that needs to be taught by the teachers...like certain objectives but every teaching style is different. Some professors give m/c tests in orgo and make it easier to pass the class other professors will give u some really hard tests- written reactions, everything that is a pain in the ass! So not every Orgo class is taught the same everywhere.

My school down in VA is not a party school. It probably wouldn't even make the list. But I had a good experience nonetheless.....
