I have some questions on 340B.

1. If you are purchasing a new med which has 340B price for the very first time (nothing in bucket/accumulator), can you still buy the med with 340B price?

If so, what's the point of managing a bucket/accumulator?

2. Employee pharmacy is 100% out-patients. My question is if an employee bring a rx from a doctor who is not affiliated with my hospital, can we still use 340B?

On #2...we do it all the time at my hosptial. Any script we get, we fill with drugs purchased through 340B.
