Hello all,
PCOM student here moving Baltimore for residency. Renting my house out (hopefully to medical students). Over the years there have been students from PCOM, Drexel, and Temple living and enjoying themselves on this block.
$1600 3BR/1.5 Bath Manayunk/Boxborough Row Home
Beautiful updated home in a friendly, safe, walkable neighborhood. One block walk to Ridge Ave with easy access to several bus stops, a grocery store, Starbucks on the corner, and a developing corridor featuring several coffee shops, restaurants, and the new Foodery (gigantic make your own six pack beer outlet). 15-20 minute walk to Main Street Manayunk. Easy access to Fairmount Park with walking, hiking, and biking trails. Awesome landlord with single property can respond easily to your needs and offers free medical school advice. House would be great for a married student with small children, 2 medical students who desire spacious living, or 3 students who want to live in a cool place cheaply.
Covered front porch with room for furniture. Small, low maintenance front and back yards. Back yard features raised deck with plenty of room for furniture and grill. Deck has large dividers for privacy. We have also added sizeable raised planting beds in the backyard for gardening. Downstairs was recently remodeled with an open floor plan, recessed lighting, and may upgraded features throughout. Electric fireplace with wooden mantle has also been added. Kitchen updated with beautiful stainless steel appliances, new tile backsplash, and a modern slate tile floor for easy cleaning. Backroom edition had been added for a powder room on the first floor. Upstairs features two larger bedrooms as well as a 3rd bedroom, which could be used for an office, child's bedroom, or a medical student trying to save money.
Gas heat and stove
Basement laundry/storage/mancave
Utilities not included
Pets OK
Street parking
$1600 security deposit
First and last month rent due at signing
