From what I have seen on this website, 3r is the easiest exam out of the aamc exams. I took 3r and got destroyed by the verbal section. My TPR verbal diagnostic was 2 points higher. Isn't TPR's verbal suppose to be harder than aamc. Did anyone else find 3r to have a difficult verbal section?

Thanks!

3R verbal is considered hard by some. I considered it fair. Do not base where you are at based on one practice test. Never have taken a TPR. I think all the AAMCs are good practice and represent the real thing. I would also suggest EK verbal, which I find a tad bit harder than AAMCs, for good practice as well. I have the new Berk review verbal as well and it is good because the passages are longer and read like the real deal but I think the questions are too easy. I have only done one practice set though.

Basically, I would not get worried until you have a few more AAMCs under your belt.

Hard but fair I think is a good description...
you can see from it's slightly more lenient curve that the AAMC must believe it to be a little tougher too...

the thing is... AAMC PS and BS are relatively easy or so I find.... and the test as a whole is easy.... but the VR is tougher.... that's probably why you've heard about 3r being easy
