Hi sdn
I'm going to detroit mercy for dental school. I noticed that in 3rd and 4th years, we are mostly doing clinical work and rotation instead of sitting in classrooms and learning. This is obviously true of any dental school. My question is, do the tuition and fees decrease in 3rd and 4th years as compared to 1st and 2nd years. Anyone in 3rd or 4th year or knows someone who is may be willing to share some insight on this topic.
P.S. don't have to be attending udm as most schools follow the same pattern
Thank you

Theoretically, most schools do decrease tuition/fees for the 3rd and 4th years.

HOWEVER, since tuition/fees generally rise 5% each year (or more!!), you'll probably end up paying a pretty similar amount to what you started out paying for your first year. It stinks.
