Hey guys. I know many of you are busy with interviews, but I am hoping some helpful soul out there can shed some light on something for me. I am halfway through my 3rd year, fairly confident that I want to go into OB/GYN. I am curious as to whether it would be helpful for me to take USMLE step 2. I took COMLEX/USMLE 1 and scored 540, 216 respectively. I know my USMLE score isn't stellar, but I figure that should be able to match somewhere with those stats and good LORs. However, if I were to take USMLE step 2 and score well, would that get me more attention from academic programs that might have passed me up from my subpar USMLE 1 score?

Any advice on this matter would really help out, especially from osteopathic students that may have gone through something similar.

Many thanks!
