4.0

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
One of the dumbest questions I've seen. Had the OP said the drop was from a 4.0 to like a 3.8 I can see how someone could feel that's significant. But we're talking about a drop of 1/100ths all I have to say is COOL STORY BRAH.

Don't put a lot of stress when it's not needed. Many people get accepted to med school who had less than 4.0GPA. Worry more about getting published, doing volunteer work, and some clinical/leadership experience. 🙂

How do I maintain a 4.0?

So yeah, I'd be worried if I were you, too.

Dude I had a 4.0 for 3 semesters then I lost it. IMO, a 3.95 is just as impressive. Just doesn't look as clean on your transcript. When i got my first B, it was like a big ole speed bump on my clean slate of A's lol.

I had a 4.0 freshman and sophomore years. Then junior year rolled around and ended up taking ridiculous classes until i just said F**k it and took a hit and got a B. No biggie, it kinda sucks at first, then you realize that ADCOMS don't give a damn between a 3.85 and a 4.00
