Hi,

are there any accelerated programs for Medicine in Europe for students who already have an undergraduate degree? i know most programs in Europe are 5-6 year and students go in straight from High school.

I'm an undergrad student in the US currently and looking at my options in Europe and rest of the world

thanks

Yes there are 4 year pograms offered in Europe for students who already have an undergraduate degree. These programs are usually offered by the Polish and Croatian medical schools (most of the Americans end up going to Poland as their universities also have good clinical ties with American universities, entitling the students to do their rotations back home-- US).

I would suggest you do a search on Poznan, Jagiellonian (so called Harvard of Poland), and in Croatia - University of Zagreb. (I would definitely recommend Poland over Croatia as the former is an EU country which has its own inherent advantages).

Good luck!

There are loads in the UK. Academic requirements will be higher than in most other countries though.
