So in the golden months of 4th year (from match to July 1), how do people treat studying? You want to have the time of your life, but you also don't want to forget half your knowledge by the time residency starts.

I was thinking about casually going through Step 2 flashcards and/or some onlinemeded.org videos maybe 1x/week during these months, then doing some semi-serious studying the 7 days before residency starts to clean off the cerebral cobwebs.

How do people approach this?

By making my medicine sub-i and em rotation in spring. That way I have exams to study for.
Med school loans aren't your own travel agency so you can jet off to whor3 island!!!

I'd imagine its the same issue with springtime M1's asking what they should review over the summer before M2, because they already forgot the 3rd enzyme in glycolysis and stuff like that. I have yet to meet an intern or resident that says they wished they reviewed material before starting their intern year.

I quoted that show so brilliantly in real life initially. Then people watched the show and realized I wasn't that funny.
Phrasing...

You mean, I realized that *all* of the brilliant lines you used on me actually came directly from Archer, and then you had to stop using them? 😛
